But You have come to Mount Zion
And we come close to God in the city of the Living God, and we discover it is a place, not of black clouds, deep darkness, and fire. Rather it is a place of celebration, of feasts and festivals, of joy and mirth. It is a place where you’ll see God face to face, and you will be able to see him! You will have been made new in a way that allows you to stand in the presence of a holy God. It’s a place where when we arrive, Jesus will come up to you with joy on his face and say, “I am so glad YOU are here!”
