Having our wishes transformed through prayer
On the day in this story, Jesus has been praying, as he often did, setting himself off apart from the others to commune with his Father in Heaven. This day, when Jesus comes back to them, the disciples do something they’ve never done before. “Jesus,” they say, “teach us to pray like you pray.”
