Kim Baumann

Kim is a cradle Episcopalian and has experienced a variety of parishes in OH, MA, MN, IL, OK, and CA. Over the years she has assisted during worship as an acolyte, lector, and chalice bearer. In Christian formation, Kim teaches Sunday school classes and is a youth leader. Her other service had included the altar guild, rector search committee work, bringing the Eucharist to homebound members, and a term on another parish vestry.

Kim and her husband, John were married in 1988 and began ministering together as lay leaders in 1992 at St. Andrew’s in Lawton, OK. They moved to Murfreesboro and transferred their membership to St. Paul’s in 2012. They have two adult children, John Tyler (JT) and Lauren.

Kim has a BS in Chemical Engineering and worked in many different capacities before obtaining her teaching credential in 2004. Kim is passionate about teaching high school and considers teaching to be her ministry in the world. She sees St Paul’s as a thriving, vibrant community poised for continued growth.
