Amy was born in Nashville, Tennessee, planting her roots in Murfreesboro in 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
Over the last twenty years, Amy has enjoyed multiple careers in education including as a classroom teacher, enrichment specialist, and university supervisor for Lipscomb University and Middle Tennessee State University. Amy also worked in the Foundation office at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Amy appreciates forming meaningful relationships with St. Paul’s youth, parents, youth volunteers, and parishioners of the church.
Amy and her husband, Chris, will celebrate nineteen years of marriage this summer. They love every minute of raising their nine-year-old daughters Elizabeth, Hendley, and Mary Ellis. Amy and her family attend First Presbyterian Church in Murfreesboro.
