Alice Gibson

Alice grew up attending the Baptist Church. As young adults, she and her husband Bruce became Episcopalians while seeking a church home to join and to get married. In 1992, they transferred their membership to St. Paul’s, where they had their youngest son baptized and both sons confirmed.

Alice’s parish ministries have included outreach committee work, the altar guild, lector, chalice bearer, teaching Sunday school, co-leading the youth group, hosting the Annual Craft and Bake Sale, membership in Episcopal Church Women and the Order of the Daughters of the King, and attending Cursillo.

Alice considers St. Paul’s an extraordinary faith community that exemplifies what’s best about the Episcopal Church: reaching out to serve our community, reaching in to support each another, and joyously worshipping God together.
