I am a cradle to the grave Episcopalian. Brenda and I moved to Tennessee in 2000 just after Brenda retired. She retired after 30 years as a teacher in Atlanta. We have been married for 56 years. We have two daughters and three granddaughters. I flew in the Army and for Delta Airlines. I retired in 2003. Since retiring I have run a small aircraft repair business (not for profit). Before Delta Airlines, we lived in Germany, Teheran, Iran, and I was in Vietnam. Our oldest daughter Sharon was born in Iran. She and her husband also retired from the Army.
When we moved to Tennessee from Atlanta, we had a choice, to church in Lebanon or Murfreesboro. As we live about halfway between Lebanon and Murfreesboro off US231. After we met Tom and Barbara Collins and Father Wise, the choice was easy.
I have been an usher for years and served as a founding member of the Senior Ministry Committee. Brenda and I also helped Liz Huber with the Coldest Nights program.
