The Destination
The destination of the journey of discipleship is not found in this world. God calls Abraham and Sarah to set out on a great journey, one that is more about deepening their faith than arriving at a geographical destination. To accept the mantle of faith is to take on the identity of foreigner and alien to this world, because this world is not all that there is, nor all that there ever will be.
