SUMMARY:CONNECT financial assistance
DESCRIPTION:Offers a supportive place for people to come and address their financial needs and other problems they may be facing. With a limited budget each session\, we attempt to help as many as possible; gas for vehicles\, bus tickets\, food certificates\, utility payments\, prescription assistance\, and rental assistance. Through focused listening\, we will look for additional needs and offer direction to other suitable resources. Our hope is to offer CONNECTIONS to get people to a better place. \nIf looking for assistance you can connect with this ministry on the first and third Monday of each month  at 9:00 a.m. to explain your need in person. For the board to make a decision on how to best grant assistance it is requested that any back-up documentation you can provide to support the requested assistance (i.e. lease agreement\, utility bill\, car note\, etc) along with personal identification. \nIf the date for the first or third Monday fall on a national holiday the CONNECT group will not meet. In 2025\, they will not meet on January 20 for MLK Day\, February 17 for Presidents’ Day\, or September 1 Labor Day. Thank you for understanding\, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
